Vila Afonso is a lovely counrtyside bed and breakfast or guesthome (classified as a "Casa de Campo" in by the Regional Tourism Authority) on the rich vineyard area of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, Madeira Island, Portugal. On the central south coast of the island with a massive sea view and lots of sun - especially important for the valuable cultivations around.

The property is typical of the local Madeiran household style and fare and is a marvellously restored classified tourism authority building. It is uniquely special in that it so well located and spoilt for levada walking itinieraries. This is a rare find, a jewel, for visitors to Madeira who want to escape the large size hotels predominating in Funchal.
