Quinta da Fajã is situated on a promontory overlooking
the bay of Funchal. The property is about 15 minutes drive to the
centre of Funchal at most. It is also approximately 15 minutes from
the Airport via a fast and new highway that passes relatively close
by direct to the airport. Quinta da Fajã is also only about 5 minutes
from the Quinta do Palheiro gardens and the spectacular golf course
of Palheiro Golf.
We recommend you hire a car. However, there are two city bus routes,
and a country bus route (to Camacha) close by that can be used if you
wish not to use a car

One of the views that can be had overlooking the bay of Funchal. The Quinta
is overgrown with old trees, many brushes, local flora, shrubs and flowers.
Hence more of the view will be awash with the gaden's plantlife than the
view out to Funchal. The property is also about 300 metres above sea level
and has a mixture of sunny and temperate weather. |
