Quinta Mãe Dos Homens

The centrally located swimming pool is the most popular facility in the Quinta for our guests

Quinta Mãe dos Homens is the epitome of the traditional Madeira Manor House estate, built on the eastern slopes of central Funchal, it's fine position lends itself to an extraordinary variety of activities and a great point of departure for many of the sights and events in and around Funchal or the rest of Madeira. Formerly the residence of Portuguese noblemen the Quinta has been developed towards the rear of the property with fresh and mostly newly built apartments and villas to cater for the discerning visitors to Madeira who prefer to live in accommodations that are private, quality conscious, fresh, tastefully decorated and well equipped to provide for guests who prefer to do their own cooking or catering.

The lovely garden estate is especially blessed with three salient features that put it right there in a top class of its own:

One of the nicest locations in Funchal - with a view to the sea and a jaw-gaping vista across the centre of Funchal.

Great sunshine and weather for the most of the year; and

Some of the nicest people you can find in Madeira - it is after all a family run estate (just the lovely Marina and Manuela make any holiday a warm smile to remember)
