The Casas da
Terça (pronounced "TEER-SAH") are three natural stone block
cottages in traditional Madeira style in an area of the same name in the
parrish county of Tabúa in the Municipality of Ribeira Brava, Madeira
Island, Portugal.
Casas da
Terça is located some four kilometres from the beach at Ribeira
Brava and 19 kilometres from Funchal. It is situated inside a valley and
the environs are typical of the farming and nature quality that Madeira
became famous for in the past. It is very calm and very quiet.
The three cottages
are positioned in a larger than 2000 m² garden built on a slope and
terraced with flower beds and quaint paths shaded with hundreds of different
varieties of flowers, fruit trees, indigenous plants, herbs, and brush.
However, for the best idea of the gorgeous, pretty and well tended gardens
