The main house is named "Casa da Terça" after the area in which it is located - called "Sítio da Terça". What started out as a hobby and a labour of love soon became a nice place to stay with many friends and family wanting to enjoy a weekend or a short stay in the country too. Subsequently, the Ferraz's built two more cottages in traditional style - another two floor cottage with two single beds called the "Casa da Glicínia" and a quaint One bedroom cottage called the "Casa dos Agapantos" with a built in sofa bed for two adults. Please see the prices and rates page to see what facilities are included in each cottage. Each cottage has its own separate and external place (terrace) with table and garden chairs. In the central reception area or patio there is a separate outside garden traditional kitchen, which is itself completely equipped and can be used for barbecues for entertaining friends.Distances: Next bus stop - 2 km, Ribeira Brava - 4 km, Lugar de Baixo - 3.5 km, Ponta Do Sol - 5 km, Funchal - 19 km. |
